Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)

2011 was certainly a good year for this beloved actor. This quote by Ryan Gosling sums up his part in the movie: "Show me a man who wouldn’t give it all up for Emma Stone and I will show you a liar.” As Jacob Palmer, Gosling gives dating advice to a recently divorced man named Cal Weaver (played by the comedic Steve Carell). His character eventually attempts to pursue Cal's daughter (the lovely Emma Stone assumes this role).

Lars and the Real Girl (2007)

As Lars Lindstrom, a socially awkward man who purchases a sex doll, Ryan Gosling manages to wow audiences. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical when I first heard of the premise. However, after watching the film, it is plain to see that this unconventional movie is worth watching if not for his acting ability alone.

While this may be a biased opinion, I truly feel that each role that Ryan Gosling has embodied has been incredibly intricate and interesting; it's no surprise that many of the films that he has starred in are critically acclaimed.
