1

The Sixth Sense

You've probably heard the phrase "I see dead people" before. That line comes from this famous movie starring Bruce Willis. It's about a child who is able to see dead people and communicate with them. After he meets Bruce's character, which is meant to be his psychiatrist, the two of them end up helping each other in ways they never thought were possible.

2

Gone Girl

The twist in this famous film doesn't come at the very end. It comes in the dead center of the movie. Even if you've already read the best selling book, Gone Girl, you should still see the movie. Gillian Flynn, the astounding author of the novel, wrote the screenplay for the film, so you know that it's going to be great.

3

Momento

This film is about a man who has no short-term memory. In order to remember important facts, he gets them tattooed onto his body, so he can see them when he wakes up every morning. The most interesting part of this film? It starts from the end of the story and works backward toward the beginning of the story. It's an interesting form of storytelling that you've never seen before.

4

Fight Club

Don't assume that Fight Club is all about boxing or wrestling, because the title is misleading. It's all about a man who is bored with his bland life. After he meets Brad Pitt's character, he learns to be more aggressive and in control of his own destiny. His sudden change in attitude turns his entire life around, but not in the way that he intended it to.

5

Inception

Inception is a movie that you should watch more than once. It can get pretty confusing, especially when the twists start to pop up, but Leonardo DiCaprio makes it all worthwhile. He portrays his character brilliantly, making the unbelievable situations he's placed into seem believable.

Famous Quotes

Silence at the proper season is wisdom, and better than any speech.

6

Se7en

This movie stars Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt, so how could it be bad? It's about a killer who murders people for giving into the seven sins, such as gluttony, greed, and lust. If you find stories with a religious angle interesting, then you're bound to love this film.

7

The Mist

This movie is based on a Stephen King book. It's about a group of people who get stuck in a supermarket together after unknown creatures in the mist surround them. Even though the creatures outside are incredibly dangerous, the people in the supermarket become dangerous, as well. After all, when people are placed in desperate situations, they start to behave erratically.

You might feel cocky when you correctly guess the ending of a film. However, movie watching is much more exciting when you never see a twist coming. What's your favorite movie with a twist ending?
