Next year looks set to be a big one for film – and there are loads of must-see movies for 2013. A quick glance at the up-coming schedule for movie releases shows that 2013 is heavy on special effects-heavy sci-fi epics, no-expenses spared rebooted blockbusters and more tween franchises. Whatever floats your boat, there’s bound to be something for you – and these are my must-see movies of 2013.
1. Movie 43 (January)
If you enjoyed the likes of Love Actually, Je T’aime Paris and Valentine’s Day, then this is definitely one of the must-see movies of 2013. Essentially a comedy, what sets this film apart is a stellar cast. Featuring ten overlapping stories, by ten different directors (expect Peter Farrelly, Griffin Dunne and a directorial turn by Elizabeth Banks), the cast includes – to name a few - Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Naomi Watts, Halle Berry and – probably my two favourite actresses ever – Emma Stone and Kate Winslet. So, basically, it must be good, right?
