If you had never thought there were real life lessons to be learned from Harry Potter, there really are! The movies are definitely entertaining, but, like any other film, they can also be inspiring. Here's how I found inspiration from Harry Potter as a child and carried it with me into adulthood. Here's the life lessons learned from Harry Potter I want to share with you:
Hogwarts will always be a place we can all call home and we are always welcomed back.
I have always been able to relate to Harry on many levels. Harry has had a lot of loss and grief in his life and so have I. I didn't lose both of my parents but my father passed away when I was 11 years old and I have watched friends die. Also I have been called crazy and been referred to as a freak. So I understand how Harry feels. It makes me feel not so alone.
I am a Hufflepuff and I absolutely love it!!
Whenever I'm sad I can always turn to the movies and books for comfort.
Back in October I had the amazing opportunity to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hollywood and I loved it!! It was magical in every way!! Now it's on my bucket list to visit the one in Orlando, Florida. It's a beautiful thing to see a whole world come to life, and the fact we can engage with it is phenomenal.
I was 4 years old when the movie came out for The Sorcerer's Stone. My life was changed for the better that day. I spent my whole childhood reading and watching Harry Potter. I feel very lucky that Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood.
How has Harry Potter been inspiring to you?
