Seriously? You Haven't Watched Jessica Jones Yet?

Marvel characters are enjoying a rich vein of screen time right now – both movies and TV. (I quite enjoyed Agent Carter – did you?) There’s a recent offering I think you should get familiar with if you aren’t already. Get onto Netflix and get your fix of Jessica Jones – you’ll be hooked! Binge watch alert!

1 David Tennant!

One of the main reasons to watch Jessica Jones is that it will give you the fix of David Tennant that you have been missing since he left Doctor Who! David plays Kilgrave, the first major villain that Jessica has to face off with this season, and he sure does look like he’s having a fantastic time playing a baddy for the first time in a while! Kilgrave has a power that allows him to verbally control people, but I’m sure many of us would do anything he asked anyway!

2 The Rest of the Cast

When it comes to putting a killer cast list together, nobody does it quite as well as Netflix these days! If David Tennant wasn’t enough to pull you in already, wait until you witness the amazing Kyrsten Ritter as Jessica Jones herself, accompanied by a whole host of well known names in supporting roles including Trish Walker and Carrie-Ann Moss.

Whether you're a Francophile, a cinema enthusiast, or simply reclining with a good film, a list of Gérard Depardieu movies is sure to add a touch of je ne sais quoi to your culture arsenal. From romantic tales to riveting drama, appreciate the captivating charm that puts this distinguished talent on the world map of cinema.

3 The Love Interest

You might already know him for his work on The Good Wife, but Mike Colter is in the show as Luke Cage, a fellow superhero who acts as Jessica’s love interest throughout the first season. He’s strong, he’s sexy, and Netflix have revealed that he will eventually be getting a spin-off series based on his character’s exploits and adventures.

4 Sexy Times!

It’s not usually the kind of thing that you see in typical superhero movies or shows, but Jessica Jones doesn’t shy away from giving their audience a taste of X-rated action! There is now infamous sex scene that takes place in the show’s pilot episode, as well as multiple scenes throughout the season. Marvel is getting hot and heavy on us!

5 Crossover Potential

One of the great things about Marvel is that the stories and movies and told and made in such a detailed way that there is always lots of room for crossover actions between different properties. Much like The Avengers, Netflix have hinted at a potential mash up of Jessica Jones and their other recent Marvel show, Daredevil.

6 Binge-ability

In a world of immediacy, ain’t nobody got time for waiting week by week for TV shows anymore! Netflix are on top of this trend, and lucky for us Jessica Jones is a Netflix made show, which means that you can head over there right and now and watch every single episode of season one without having to wait for anything. Quick! Go! Now! What are you waiting for!

7 The Trailer

I have seen a lot of trailers in my time, and I have to say that I think the trailer for Jessica Jones is one of the best for a long, long time. Take a look for yourself. It will definitely get you excited to binge the show all at once! If the trailer excites you, I suggest you get to it straight away to avoid the disappointment of spoilers before you have the chance to finish the show!

Have you seen it yet? What do you think?

I tried - I quite liked it but too much mystery and I didn't know enough to begin with :( David Tennant totally nailed his character tho!
