MAJOR MOVIE NEWS:

Suicide Squad, a popular DC comic book, is headed to the big screen and the star-studded cast is unbelievable! Seriously, with A-listers like these, there's no way this movie won't be a worldwide success.

Jared Leto is set to play The Joker in the film (YES) while Will Smith has officially landed the part of Deadshot! The role of Rick Flagg will be played by Tom Hardy and Harley Quinn will be played by Margot Robbie!

Other big names include Jai Courtney (Boomerang) and supermodel Cara Delevingne (the Enchantress). Production on the movie is set to begin this coming April in Toronto and the film has a tentative release date of Aug. 5, 2016! David Ayer will be directing the film and Charles Roven and Richard Suckle will be producing. After casting news broke, Warner Bros. President Greg Silverman said, "We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer's amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero."

There's still a few casting decisions that need to be made, i.e. will Jesse Eisenberg reprise his role as Lex Luthor? Who will play Amanda Waller? Only time will tell! Are YOU excited about Suicide Squad? What do you think about the cast?
