Celebrities make millions of dollars, sometimes just because of the way they look. Of course, sometimes they make pounds of money just for not looking like themselves. Those are my favorite performances – sneaky cameos that, due do fab makeup and fantastic acting, sometimes slip under the radar.
To be honest, I think this is one of Tom's best roles. It's certainly one of my favorites.

I remember when Stephen talked about this the first time. He was so excited! I thought he was taking the piss, absolutely did not believe he was really in The Hobbit, but then lo and behold, he totally was!
Before that, however, director Peter Jackson had a small but memorable turn in Hot Fuzz. Simon Pegg brings out the best in everyone.
I watch The Big Lebowski once a month and I never noticed Flea. I did, however, spot him in Pauly Shore's Son-in-Law (which I also watch like once a month).
