1. Fruits Basket
Fruits Basket was my first anime and, of all the anime shows I’ve watched since then, it remains my favorite! Fruits Basket has just the right balance of fantasy, romance, comedy and action. To this day I can’t find a flaw with Fruits Basket, other than the fact that the series was so darn short! You can find Fruits Basket online at Hulu, so get started watching now!

Fruits Basket is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name by Natsuki Takaya. It follows the story of Tohru Honda, a high school girl who ends up living with the Sohma family after the death of her mother. The Sohma family are cursed to transform into animals of the Chinese zodiac when embraced by a person of the opposite sex. Fruits Basket is a unique and heartwarming series that appeals to viewers of all ages. It features a strong female lead and a diverse cast of characters. It also has themes of friendship, family, and love that make it a great choice for teenage girls. With its short length of 26 episodes, it's easy to binge watch in a single weekend. 2. School Rumble
School Rumble is yet another anime series I’d highly recommend! This series ran for two seasons, and is about a crazy love triangle! All of the characters are lovable, and go on adventures you’ll love watching! You can find School Rumble on Hulu, so what are you waiting for?
3. Ouran High School Host Club
Teenage girls go crazy over the characters on Ouran High School Host Club! With suave and hilarious male characters, and a heroine you can’t help but love, Ouran High School Host Club is an incredible anime series! Unfortunately, it only ran for one season but that means you can binge watch this fantastic romcom right now on Netflix!
4. B Gata H Kei- Yamada’s First Time
Yamada’s First Time is such a great show simply because the main character is so very awkward! It’s hard not to fall in love with this character after one episode, trust me! Yamada is a girl trying to become a woman, step by step starting with her first kiss. Her journey is wild and, well, awkward! Start watching this series on Netflix today!

6. Vampire Knight
Anime series aren’t all romcoms; no, there’s a darker side, too. One dark, mysterious anime series teenage girls love is Vampire Knight! I just started watching the show recently, but I’m already hooked! There’s endless intrigue, and a constant sense of danger! If you’re more inclined to supernatural dramas, check out Vampire Knight on Hulu!

7. Spice and Wolf
Again, the characters on Spice and Wolf make the series phenomenal! Spice and Wolf is a show about a merchant named Kraft Lawrence and Holo, who looks like a 15 year old girl but is actually a 250 year old wolf deity! It’s a fantasy, yes, but more than anything it’s about the relationship between Kraft Lawrence and Holo. Their adventures and friendship make the show really worth watching! I’m a complete anime freak, and I’m not afraid to admit it! If you’re a teenage girl who’s a fan of anime, or who is maybe a bit hesitant to explore the world of anime, I strongly recommend watching these shows! What is your favorite teenage-friendly anime show?

Ingrid: I have seen Vampire Knight and Ouran Host Club. I loved those two. they were just amazing. I recommend: 1.Vampire Knight 2. (Kaichou Wa) Maid-Sama 3. Ouran Host Club 4. Special A 5. Say "I love you". I have seen many others, and I can tell you some anime stories are juat amazing. One that really surprised me is called 'Amnesia' it was just that the conclusion, and the overall concept was beautiful.

Didiikirova: Kaichou wa maid-sama is a great romantic and comedy story , I have seen almost 50 different romantic and funny animes and this is the best ever. Although i used to watch when i was 14-16yr old i dont know much about the list i only know two and those are awesome too Fruits Basket and Ouran High school Host club.
