One of my favorite parts of the New Year is the TCA, or the Television Critics Association, because it means that all of the major networks are announcing and previewing new shows. This year did not disappoint! While some shows had already been announced and are premiering fairly soon, some are still in the early stages. Either way, these are the most anticipated shows of 2015!

1. Fresh off the Boat
Fresh Off the Boat has had television critics buzzing for nearly a year now, and it’s finally making its way to our TV screens. Fresh Off the Boat is the first television show since Margaret Cho’s critically disastrous “All-American Girl” to showcase an Asian-American family. Not only will it be groundbreaking, but it’s also hilarious. The pilot streamed early a few months ago, and it’s one of the funniest shows I’ve seen this year! It’s a must-see!
2. Scream Queens
Trailer: Not Yet Released
Scream Queens was just announced as Ryan Murphy’s next project, and as per usual, he’s got a star-studded cast coming along with him. This horror-comedy show stars Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Joe Manganiello, Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, and Nick Jonas. Even if you don’t love horror shows, with this many stars, this is definitely one to keep on your radar!
3. One Big Happy
Happy Endings fans rejoice! Elisha Cuthbert is back with a new show, co-starring Nick Zano and produced by Ellen DeGeneres. Elisha Cuthbert is playing a lesbian, Nick Zano plays the best friend, and after they decide to have a baby together, his character spontaneously gets married to someone else! It’s just as wacky as you’d expect, and with this cast and crew, it’s sure to be a hit!
4. Better Call Saul
Breaking Bad was, to say the least, one of the biggest cultural phenomenons of the past decade. Unfortunately, it’s over, but not for long, because its prequel, Better Call Saul, is premiering this year. If you’re still in Breaking Bad withdrawals, your despair will soon be over!

5. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
I will admit that when I saw the first few seconds of this pilot, I was not a fan. The entire premise that Ellie Kemper was playing a woman who lived underground for decades as a part of a cult, made me feel like I should be offended for someone, but I wasn’t sure for whom. However, literally seconds later I was obsessed with it, and now I’m counting down the days until the entire first season premieres on Netflix!

6. Battle Creek
Maybe it’s because I’m a native of Michigan, but everything about this show excites me. It takes place in Battle Creek, Michigan, where Josh Duhamel plays a cop. Plus, it was created by the same people behind Breaking Bad, and there are people attached who worked on House, so chances are that everyone will love it!
7. Man Seeking Woman
This FXX show that recently premiered is just as funny as every FXX comedy is these days. It stars Jay Baruchel, most notably from She’s Out of My League, as he goes on a series of disastrous dates. For all of the 20-somethings out there, it’s sure to be something you relate to and absolutely love watching!
