How could “Mean Girls” not be on a list of movies for a girl’s night in? This movie is so much fun to watch! It’s definitely one of the funniest movies on this list and it’s no surprise because it was written by the hilarious Tina Fey. Who hasn’t known of some mean girls in their own life? Since you’re probably sick of dealing with them, why not poke some fun at them with this awesome movie that you’ll probably be quoting to each other for days to come.

2. 13 Going on 30

I adore this movie! There’s really a little bit of everything that makes a good chick flick in this movie. “13 Going on 30” has some romance, comedy, and even a little bit of an inspirational message about living your life and embracing who you are. This is the kind of movie that will have you laughing while you’re watching it and leave a smile on your face when it ends. Who doesn’t want that when they’re hanging out with their girls?!

3. The Women

Talk about girl power; there are literally no men in this movie! “The Women” is a story of a woman who leaves her cheating husband and how her friends help her to get through this tough time. It’s a hilarious movie and it really shows how having friends that you can count on is really important for when you’re going through a hard time in your life. This is definitely one of the best movies to watch with your friends.

4. P.S I Love You

If you want a good cry, watch this movie. Some people might think it’s strange to want to watch a tearjerker for a girl’s night in, but sometimes you just need a good cry. Don’t get me wrong though, there is a happy ending so I’m not leading you astray and trying to ruin your night. This is a great movie about finding yourself, getting through hard times, and moving on from how your life used to be.

5. Eat, Pray, Love

This movie is all about inspiration. For instance, after I saw it I wanted to leave home and do crazy exciting things that I never thought of doing before. I didn’t do any of those things, but that’s beside the point. This movie really has a little bit of everything; there’s romance, laughs, inspiration, drama, and a story about finding oneself. What else does a really amazing movie for a girl’s night need? Oh right, nothing.

6. Crazy, Stupid Love

This movie is wonderful! I got a little nervous that it was going to be one of those movies that has too many famous actors in it and therefore there isn’t actually anything else good about the movie. I was wrong. Not only does this movie have awesome actors, but it also has a great story and is pretty much guaranteed to make you laugh. A bonus scene is Ryan Gosling taking his shirt off, and who doesn’t want to see that?

7. Date Night

HILARIOUS! I don’t even have much else to say about this movie, but if you and your girls are looking to laugh this is definitely the movie to check out. Steve Carell and Tina Fey, what could be better? Oh yeah, Mark Wahlberg shirtless! This is definitely a movie that can be watched at any time, but when you need a laugh this is almost guaranteed to get the job done.
