There are lots of top TV baddies we love, because who doesn’t love a good villain!? I know I do! Every now and again a baddie comes around that the audience just adores. There are a million reasons that these are the top TV villains, whether it’s because they have a heart of gold, they feel that they don’t have a choice but to be bad, or they’re just so crazy you can’t help but love them! Let’s take a look at my seven choices for top TV baddies we love!

1. Moriarty
What to say about Moriarty other than he is probably one of my favorite characters on TV. On BBC’s “Sherlock,” he plays the main baddie and I adore him. He is absolutely insane, which easily makes him one of the top TV baddies we love! I have called him the face of pure evil while forcing my friends to watch my favorite Moriarty scene. Not only is he crazy, but you’re pretty much guaranteed a laugh because he is hilarious. It doesn’t hurt that he has a great accent and is played by a phenomenal actor who makes you believe he’s just as crazy as he seems! What’s not to love?!
2. Victoria Grayson
I love to call Victoria an evil genius. While other people on this list are supernatural in some way, she is just a normal person. This makes the fact that she’s considered a baddie even better. She is mean, vindictive, and only does things that will benefit her. She does have a soft side that we see every so often, but when it comes down to it, she is pretty cold hearted. She earned a spot on this list by being mean and cruel, but getting the audience to love her anyway.
3. Morgana Pendragon
It’s so easy to fall for a baddie; it doesn’t hurt if she’s gorgeous and has an Irish accent to boot. When it comes down to it though, Morgana is absolutely insane, but I can’t get enough of her. She gets completely corrupted by the magic that she acquires throughout the show. Even though it’s wrong, sometimes I even found myself rooting for her just because I love her.
4. Regina Mills/Evil Queen
Regina is a character that just looks out for herself; she wants what she wants and won’t let anyone get in the way of it. She is straight up evil and will not hesitate to kill. Seeing as Regina is in a show called “Once Upon a Time,” it is no surprise that she also has magic. Regina is also the Evil Queen in the story of Snow White. I love Regina, she is so evil and seems to have no redeeming qualities, but for some reason I just can’t get enough.
5. Pam De Beaufort
Pam is the most straightforward character in all of “True Blood.” She says everything that the audience is thinking and it’s great because sadly, we can’t communicate with the characters. Pam is absolutely hilarious and incredibly mean. She has a past that she hid for most of the series, but when it is shown to the audience we are made to feel bad for her. This baddie gets her spot on the list for being hilarious and having a past that makes us have some sympathy for her.
6. Spike
It is so hard to explain why I love Spike from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” While in the end he turns out to have a heart of gold and turns good, I fell in love with him during the part that he is evil. Spike is a mean and cruel vampire who gets his jollies from killing and torturing people. Doesn’t that sound like a lovable character?! Well, no it doesn’t, but Spike pulls it off. It probably has something to do with the fact that he’s hilarious, British, and not that bad looking either.
7. Dexter Morgan
Dexter isn’t always considered an evil character, but when it comes down to it, he is considered a bad guy. Dexter kills people; this makes him a baddie. The difference is that he only kills bad guys, so it is hard to decide whether he should be a goodie or a baddie. I think he is the perfect combination of both. Some may not think that he deserves a spot on this list, but I do because sometimes he toes the line between what is good and what is bad. Whatever you consider him, I love him.
There are so many characters that can be considered baddies and it is not hard for them to win the approval of the audience. Who doesn’t love falling for someone when you know it’s wrong? It may be wrong, but sometimes I side with the baddies. I can’t help myself; sometimes they’re just so lovable! Who would you have on this list? Is there anyone you disagree with?
