1. Parenthood

Parenthood recently ended its six-season run, so now is a better time than ever to start watching it. Personally, I just started watching it, and it immediately pulled me in. I was always hesitant, because everyone told me that I’d cry at the end of every episode. So far, I haven’t cried yet, and I’ve watched the first three seasons. If you’re looking for a show to watch about a realistic family, this is the show for you.

2. Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation is also a show that’s coming to end soon, so if you’re looking for something a little more lighthearted, this may be a good show to start with. You’ll fall in love with all of the characters and their crazy antics and dynamics.

3. Friends

If you haven’t seen every episode of Friends, whether it was when it was originally on TV, or sporadically thanks to the countless reruns constantly on TV, I don’t know where you’ve been hiding. Even if you have seen the entire series, binge-watching it is a whole new experience. I had seen the series so many times that I couldn’t keep track. When it came to Netflix, I decided to binge-watch it, and it was like watching an entirely new show!

4. Property Brothers

Everyone’s talking about the Property Brothers these days. If you haven’t seen it yet, start watching. John and Drew will suck you in, and you won’t be able to keep watching the reality series, no matter how predictable it is. You will love this home renovation show--trust me.

5. The Office

As a die-hard fan of The Office, I am definitely judging you if you haven’t binge-watched it at one point or another, but that’s beside the point. The Office will appeal to you no matter the kind of comedy you love. This show has it all. You may think you love Steve Carell, but you will love him even more after watching The Office.

6. Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights has been off the air for nearly four years, and yet it’s still one of the most-talked about TV shows out there. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s a must-watch, and luckily, it’s on Netflix, waiting for you to have a few days off to dedicate to watching it!

7. Gilmore Girls

No matter your relationship with your mother, this show is one that you must watch. While it is advertised as a show about a mother and a daughter, there’s so much more to it than just that. There are so many complex characters and storylines that are waiting for you to delve into!

What shows do you think I should binge-watch? I’m always looking for new shows to check out, so let me know your own favorite shows in the comments!
