1. The Notebook π
If youβre in love πΉ with Ryan Goslingβs clean πΏ cut βοΈ look, his beard alone will make you cry in βThe Notebook.β If thatβs not enough to get you upset, Nicholas Sparks always has a π °οΈ way of writing π stories that pull at our heart π strings. "The Notebook" jumps between two 2οΈβ£ stories, one 1οΈβ£ about a π °οΈ young couple's troubled π© 1940s romance πΉ and an elderly π΄ husband and wife π struggling to stay together π« in a π °οΈ modern-day nursing home. Plus, watching π any love π½ story where Ryan Gosling is the lead will bring us to tears just from wishing he was ours!
2. Titanic π£π½
When you watch πΊ Titanic, youβll probably get tears of frustration from the whole βthey couldβve fit two 2οΈβ£ people π» on π that boardβ situation. However, thereβs plenty of other things to cry over, so buy π΄ a π °οΈ boatload of tissues before you press play. If youβve somehow never seen the film, itβs about a man π named Jack who meets Rose πΉ on π the Titanic and slowly shows her that there is happiness π and love β₯οΈ outside of her shallow rich πΆ world π that her mother created for her. 3. Ghost π»
Your tissues will do double the work π when you watch β "Ghost," because itβll make you cry AND laugh. I βΉοΈ mean, Whoopie Goldberg is in it, and she never fails to lighten the mood. Despite her comedic presence, Sam, the main male πΉ character, dies right π at the start of the movie. However, his spirit π» is stuck on π Earth π to help βΉοΈ protect his girlfriend Molly and avenge his death. Itβs a sad π situation, but having a π °οΈ ghost π» as a π °οΈ boyfriend isnβt as bad as it would seem.
4. A Walk π to Remember
If you think your life π± is rough, this movie π₯ will make your reality seem like π flowers π and sunshine. Like π I βΉοΈ mentioned earlier, I βΉοΈ think it's safe to assume that you will always need a π °οΈ lot of tissues when watching π a film π₯ adaptation of a π °οΈ Nicholas Sparks book. In "A Walk π To Remember," Landon is a π °οΈ high school π« bad boy π±πΌ who falls in love π with God-loving good π girl π Jamie, who slowly makes him change his ways. Sadly, though, Landon finds out that Jamie is dying of leukemia and tries to complete her "bucket list" before it's too late. If your bucket list doesnβt contain βwatch a Walk π to Remember and reevaluate my life π choices,β then you need to add β it to the list.
5. My Girl π¦ π§
If youβre too young to be a π °οΈ mother but too old to play π² with dolls, βMy Girlβ is exactly what you need to feel like π youβre a π °οΈ worried π° parent. The movie π₯ is a π °οΈ huge tearjerker as it was a π °οΈ harsh reminder π that life π± isn't fair, even at a π °οΈ young age. The story revolved around Vada and her best friend π Thomas J. They have a π °οΈ childhood love π that is innocent πΌ and pure, but sadly ends up π being cut πΉ short. Everyone has days where they wish π« they were a π °οΈ child π¨βπ©βπ§ again, but you need to remember how lucky π you are that you grew up π at all.

6. P.S. I Love π» You
Everything Gerard Butler touches is golden, which is why so many women π fantasize about his hands π on π them. Although Butler dies at the start of the movie, heβs the main focus of it. "P.S I Love π You" depicts Holly Kennedy, who is married to Butlerβs character πΎ and has to deal with his death. However, before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a π °οΈ series π of letters β’οΈ that will help βΉοΈ guide her, not only through her grief but in rediscovering herself. The next time π that your boyfriend honks his horn πΊ instead of picking you up π at the door, remind him of how Gerry helped Holly even after his death. Itβll give him the shove he needs to man π¨ up.
7. Armageddon π
If you really want to escape π through a π °οΈ movie, this one 1οΈβ£ will take π¬ you all the way to space. Itβs filled with starsβand not just the ones that sparkle β¨ in the sky. Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thorton, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, Owen Wilson, and Steve Buscemi are all in the film. Itβs an action-packed movie π₯ that centers around space π exploration and the fact that a π °οΈ doomsday asteroid is set π¬ to collide with Earth. The only man π that has a π °οΈ chance of stopping the asteroid and saving all of the mankind is an oil driller named Harry Stamper and his group of misfit drillers and geologists. Then there's the love π» story between Harry's daughter π¨βπ©βπ§ Grace and his employee A.J. that leaves π² us wondering who will come to Grace (if they stop π the asteroid) in the end? 8. My Sister's Keeper π§
Your family πͺ isnβt the only one 1οΈβ£ with problems. Whether we want to admit it or not, weβre all pretty messed up. Thatβs just a π °οΈ trait that goes hand-in-hand with being human. This movie, adapted from a π °οΈ Jodi Picoult novel, is about an eleven-year-old named Anna Fitzgerald, who seeks to hire the successful lawyer Campbell Alexander in order to help βΉοΈ her earn medical π₯ emancipation from her mother Sara, who wants Anna to donate her kidney to her sister π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ who's dying of leukemia.
9. Bambi π² π³
Of course, I βΉοΈ had to include a π °οΈ classic tearjerker and probably the first 1οΈβ£ movie π₯ all of us ever cried over. The beginning of "Bambi" is the saddest Disney movie π₯ opening I βΉοΈ had ever seen. (That is until the movie π₯ "Up" came out.) Even as the movie π₯ progress and things get happier, itβs hard not to think about the hardships those woodland animals have to face πΏ in the real world. Us humans are just too mean. Those adorable π creatures deserve a π °οΈ higher spot on π the food π₯ chain.
10. Brokeback Mountain π
Heterosexual relationships have had it too good π for too long. Itβs about time π that a π °οΈ movie π₯ about two 2οΈβ£ dudes earns the spotlight it deserves. Never has a π °οΈ movie π₯ come out that addressed being in the closet π so accurately. And the passion π between the two 2οΈβ£ characters? It is truly amazing, and it's a π °οΈ movie π₯ that is a π °οΈ classic to see -- even if it does make you cry a π °οΈ ton!
11. The Blind π Side
"The Blind π Side" will make all of you football β½ haters into fansβat least temporarily. It's a π °οΈ movie π₯ about a π °οΈ boy π¦π½ that grew up π in the bad part of town, but Sandra's character π΄ took him in and made him into something. It's a π °οΈ classic drama π movie π₯ that is absolutely amazing and heart-wrecking to watch! Itβs even based on a π °οΈ true story, so donβt go claiming that the characters πΉ are unrealistic. It all actually happened.
12. Seven 7οΈβ£ Pounds
Will Smith is no π« longer in Bellaire, but heβs still as fresh π as a π °οΈ prince. No π matter how old he gets, his acting π just never gets stale. This movie π₯ is so unique and different that you really have to watch β it closely to understand. Once you do, have a box π¦ of Kleenex handy! It's sad, it's dramatic, and it's free π on π Netflix!
13. Bridge π to Terabithia
Donβt feel babyish for watching π this film, because itβs more mature than youβd think. In fact, I βΉοΈ wouldnβt want a π °οΈ child π©βπ©βπ§ watching π it because theyβre too young to have their hopes and dreams crushed. Of course, adults are already used to the disappointment of the world, so if you like π fairy tales and you love π imagination, this is the movie π₯ for you. One 1οΈβ£ warning, though, you are going π to cry at the end π and it's going π£ to kill πͺ you just a π °οΈ little bit inside.
14. The Lovely πΈ Bones
This movie π₯ can be summed up π with part of the title name: lovely. You already know that the book π version is fantastic, but the movie? It brought it all to life π and it's a π °οΈ deep, dark π movie. It's about a guy π€ that killed a π °οΈ girl π and it focuses on π her ghost, which appears to help βΉοΈ her family π©βπ©βπ§βπ§ and the authorities find out who her murderer is. It sounds a π °οΈ tad scary, but arenβt most things?
15. Selena π
Selena was one 1οΈβ£ of the greatest singers out thereβand no, we arenβt talking π± about the one 1οΈβ£ who dated π Justin Bieber. Weβre talking π’ about the gorgeous lady, portrayed by Jennifer Lopez, who is stylish and just plain fabulous. I love π the character πΊ that Jennifer made and I βΉοΈ absolutely love π the fact that they made a π °οΈ movie π₯ out of Selena's life. But since itβs based on a π °οΈ true story, it's also heartbreaking.
16. The Green Mile π
If youβve never heard π of this film, youβre not alone. But as you know, just because something is unpopular doesnβt mean itβs unlovable (I mean, how popular π are you, really?) This is one 1οΈβ£ of those movies π¦ that is sure to pull some tears from your eyes. It's so, so hard to watch, but it's also a π °οΈ movie π₯ that is absolutely beautiful and so, so well-done.
17. Steel π© Magnolias
If you canβt afford to visit the beauty π π½ parlor, you can at least afford to watch β a π °οΈ movie π₯ about once. 18. Stepmom π
Whenever thereβs a π °οΈ step-mom in a π °οΈ movie, sheβs always considered βevil.β Well, thatβs just not fair π‘ to all those lovely, concerned π³ step-moms out there. They deserve some credit and itβs about time π they got it! This movie π₯ does have a π °οΈ great π ending, but it does leave you with the question, does she really die? When? How long after? It's so hard to watch, but it's such a π °οΈ great π movie!
19. The Pursuit of Happyness π
Whatβs the point β¬οΈ of life, you ask? Hitchhikerβs Guide to the Galaxy π will say β42,β but this movie π₯ will say itβs the pursuit of happiness. If you've ever been down π£ and out and really trying to build π§ yourself back π up, this is the movie π₯ for you! This is a π °οΈ movie π₯ all about reinventing yourself and really pulling yourself out of a π °οΈ hole. A deep, deep hole.
20. The Vow π°
After watching π a π °οΈ really bad film, you might wish π« for memory loss, but itβs not something to joke π about and "The Vow" will make you realize why. Itβs about a π °οΈ woman πΊ who gets into a car π accident and loses her memory -- all of it minus β the past, where she still talked to her parents π¨βπ©βπ§βπ§ and was engaged π to someone else besides her now husband. Imagine spending hours β of your time π¦ listening π to your mateβs complaints, buying her countless dinners, and making her fall π in love β₯οΈ with youβand then she forgets it all?
21. The Boy π¦π½ in Striped Pajamas
If you want to be touched, you donβt need a π °οΈ man. You just need to pop this movie π₯ into your blue π’ ray player. Iβve never thought π¬ a π °οΈ movie π₯ would tug at my heart π to the point β¬οΈ when it starts hurting π until I βΉοΈ saw the movie π₯ "The Boy π±πΌ In Striped Pajamas." The movie π₯ is about a π °οΈ 9-year-old boy, Bruno, growing up π during World π War 2 in Berlin. His father forbade him from exploring his surroundings, but like π any curious β little boy, Bruno decided to do the opposite. Through his exploration, he meets a π °οΈ boy π±πΌ his age π΅ named Shmuel, who is separated from his family π¨βπ©βπ§ in a π °οΈ concentration camp. From that point π on, Bruno decides to make it his mission to help βΉοΈ Shmuel reunite with his family. As a π °οΈ viewer, you canβt help βΉοΈ but admire Brunoβs innocence and nonjudgmental mindset, his selflessness and his bravery. Itβs a π °οΈ touching story that everyone should see!
22. Up! π
Who says animated movies π₯ arenβt as good π as live action π¬ ones? Some may find it hard to connect with a π °οΈ cartoon character, but the way this movie π₯ is made, it breaks down π§ that boundary and connects with your emotions on a π °οΈ whole other level. You find so much sympathy for the main character π΄ for the loss of his loved β€οΈ one 1οΈβ£ that you would be surprised π¨ yourself by the amount of waterworks youβll exude! Youβll never be able to look π at a π °οΈ balloon π the same way again.

24. The Last Song
You might hate π watching π her swing naked on a π °οΈ wrecking ball, but the girl π can act. Some might consider this as just another teenage movie π₯ but it is an adaptation of a π °οΈ Nicholas Sparks book, so you canβt just give up π all hope. In reality, there is a π °οΈ lot of substance and good π acting. You might actually be surprised π― at how many moments you will be able to relate to and how many times your eyes π will start to tear up. Aside from the romantic π· plot, there is more depth to the storyline due to an estranged relationship π between Ronnie and her father. Their family π¨βπ©βπ§ storyline is what stood out to me the most, and maybe youβll feel the same way!
25. Marley & Me
If your parents π©βπ©βπ§βπ¦ refuse to let you get a π °οΈ dog, "Marley & Me" will show you why that decision is probably for the best. No π matter how much fun youβd have rolling π² around in the dirt with your furry friend, heβll eventually get buried under it. This movie π₯ will make you feel like π you're actually growing up π with Marley because it shows the dog's entire life, which just so happens to include the end π of it. The last few scenes of the film πΉ feels like π you have to say goodbye to your own dog π that you've had for the past hour and a π °οΈ halfβso imagine having one 1οΈβ£ for ten π whole human years!
26. Remember Me
If you've never seen this particular movie, you've got to. Of course, it has the standard troubled-teen in it that falls in love, but what you don't know is the twist at the end π that makes it so, so sad. I βΉοΈ won't ruin it for you but watch πΊ it.

28. The Color π¨ Purple
Whoopi Goldberg in this movie π₯ is the best. Not only is this role made for her, but this movie π₯ will make you laugh, cry and go through every single 1οΈβ£ emotion π you've ever experienced. I've watched this movie π₯ about a π °οΈ hundred π― different times and it is still perfect.
29. Fried Green β»οΈ Tomatoes
This childhood is breathtaking and the way that they switch between the stories? It is amazing. This movie π₯ will make you lose it when ninny and Evelyn pass π« right π by Ruth's grave. It's sad, it's funny π and it is beautiful.
30. Boy's Don't Cry
Hilary Swank in this movie π₯ is amazing. It's hard to watch, especially in this day π and age, but it is still such a π °οΈ powerful movie π₯ to really understand what trans people π» go through and what they fear.
There's nothing like π» a good π cry, especially when you've been feeling like π the world π has been weighing down π on π your shoulders lately. It can also be a π °οΈ great π way to bond with your girlfriends, Mom, or any other important woman π§π» in your life. What movie π₯ makes you cry like π a baby πΌ every time β you watch πΊ it?
