I always enjoy watching Anne Hathaway movies. She’s a very talented actor in my opinion who stars in array of films for every fan out there. What’s more, she’s kind in person and her interviews portray that. One afternoon I was flipping between channels to watch two different films at once. It took me a minute to realize that they both starred Hathaway, hence my desire to watch the two. These are some great Anne Hathaway movies that I like and you will too!

1. The Princess Diaries

When it comes to Anne Hathaway movies, you can’t leave out the classics like the “Princess Diaries” series. I personally loved this story as a kid. Teenage Mia Thermopolis finds out that she is more than the geeky girl at school, she’s a princess. Hathaway does a brilliant job in her first movie ever. The film is funny, quirky and simply lovely. If you haven’t seen it already, you should check it out.

The film “One Day” has a very interesting plotline in my opinion. It tells the story of two people on the course of the same day for multiple years. Somtimes they are together and sometimes they aren’t. It take a little to get used to the format but I quite enjoyed this film.

Hathaway plays Fantine in the 2012 film adaptation of “Les Miserables.” When asked how she prepared physically for the film, Hathaway said she tried to lose weight “as if she was dying.” I admire Hathaway’s desire not to promote extreme weight loss. The story is the classic musical about poverty in France and the revolutionary efforts taken to establish justice. The entire film is a musical with no breaks for dialogue, so be prepared.

The storyline of “Ella Enchanted” follows young Ella who has been cursed to do everything she is commanded to do. She ends up falling in love with the soon-to-be king. When the current king, a wicked uncle, learns of this, he plans to have Ella kill the prince to ensure his reign. The trick, she has to do whatever she is commanded. To find out what happens, you’ll have to watch this great, family-friendly film.
