Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of the Marvel universe, making it clear that I would follow one of ABC's highly anticipated TV drama shows of the fall season. Led by the beloved Agent Coulson, who is played by Clark Gregg, the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. must work together in order to solve the peculiarities almost always involved in their missions. When I was first introduced to the premise of this show, I must say that I was ecstatic to hear that Agent Coulson's role would be reprised. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.

2

Betrayal

Airing every Sunday night at 10 p.m., Betrayal focuses on the affair of two married people (Sara and Jack) who are unhappy with their respective marriages and how it begins to affect their families. The twist comes into play when a conflict of interest arises; Jack is the defense lawyer of a case that Sara's husband is prosecuting. While the plot isn't entirely original, the actors manage to instill a breath of fresh air to the overall series. Also, one look at Chris J. Johnson will be more than enough to convince you to add this show to your own list of TV shows to catch.

Once upon a Time in Wonderland

As one of the "Big Three" (top television networks), ABC's fall lineup has never looked better. WIth the growing success of the hit series Once Upon a Time, this spin off has a lot to live up to. Centering on the fairy tale "The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland", it's been refreshing to see how this new take on the magical realm of Disney pans out. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m.

Hostages

This next show is hosted on another one of the "Big Three" TV networks (the last being NBC). CBS' Hostages follows the abduction of the Sanders family when an ex FBI agent threatens to kill them if Ellen Sanders doesn't go through with the plan of botching the President of the United States' operation. It airs on Mondays at 10 p.m.

5

Dracula

Starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the classic vampire Dracula, it's been interesting seeing how everything plays out every Friday on NBC. With its hold on the media, the role of the vampire have never looked as good as in this horror drama. Dracula pretends to be an entrepreneur trying to make a breakthrough in the field of science during the Victorian era; his actual reason for coming to London is much more sinister.

Reign

Even though TV audiences were only recently drawn into the world of CW's Reign, I feel that it definitely warrants a mention on this list. Premiering on October 17th, Reign centers around the life of Mary, Queen of Scots. I recently began watching this period drama and have to say that I am completely hooked! I've always been a fan of shows that focus on historical periods.

7

The Blacklist

As one of the most wanted international criminals, James Spader's character works with the FBI to catch other criminals in order to face a lesser sentence. I absolutely love the chemistry and dynamic between Spader and Megan Boone (who plays Elizabeth Keen, a beginner profiler). The Blacklist comes on every Monday at 10 p.m. on NBC.

With such intricate plot lines, I can only imagine how explosive the season finale of each show will be! What new TV shows have you been keeping up with? Is anyone else excited to see FOX's new TV series Almost Human?
