1. Captain America: the Winter Soldier

Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson on screen together? Sign me up for that! The Winter Solider is a sequel to Marvel's Captain America The First Avenger. We find Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But, when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. Jeez, this tops my list of movie sequels to look forward to this year!

2. Mockingjay

Unfortunately, there's no Mockingjay trailer just yet. So, here's a clip where the cast discusses the whole filming process! Being a part of The Hunger Games fandom, I am incredibly excited for this movie to come out! I practically zoomed past the book series, and have loved every movie adaptation. Mockingjay is a heartbreakingly beautiful story, so I'm excited to see hit theaters in November!

3. 22 Jump Street

Okay, I can't even put into words how excited I am for this film. 21 Jump Street was a masterpiece, so thank you, Jonah Hill! I can't wait to see Jonah and Channing on screen again. I love their bromance! Plus, how exciting is it to see the two at college now, not high school? I can't wait for the laughs. It's set to hit theaters in July!

4. The Amazing Spiderman 2

How epic does this movie look?! It's set to hit theaters this May. I'm always up for seeing Andrew Garfield as Spiderman. And of course, the lovely Emma Stone. These two have incredible on-screen chemistry. I think this movie is going to be a huge success!

5. X-Men: Days of Future past

X-Men is set to hit theaters this May! In this movie, The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants. From the trailer, I think it looks pretty crazy! I can't wait to watch.

6. Think like a Man Too

Sigh. Here's another movie with no official trailer just yet! So, I leave you with a video of the men in Think Like A Man sharing their worst relationship advice! This movie is full of beautiful men. I mean, Jerry Ferrara and Michael Ealy? You can't go wrong with that. I totally loved the first movie and I can't wait for the sequel to come out this year!

7. The Hobbit: There and Back Again

Even though The Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug came out late 2013, we can already expect the sequel this year! The Company of Thorin has reached Smaug's lair but, can Bilbo and the Dwarves reclaim Erebor and the treasure? And, if so, can they hold on to it?

There you have it! I'm super excited for this movie sequels this year. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
