The plot of this movie is very similar to the kissing booth. A story about two female best friends that fall out with each other when one of them starts dating the other’s older brother. Hailee Steinfeld plays a troubled and lonely teenager going through issues everyone goes through at that particular age. A must-watch for all high-schoolers.

Imagine writing a love letter to your crush you have never spoken to. Now imagine it being posted by accident. How stressful and embarrassing would that be? You might have already heard of the book with the same title which released a few years before the movie came out. This movie is about a girl, Laura Jean who writes letters to guys she has a crush on but never sends them. She hides them in a box but somehow all these letters get posted and trouble follows especially because one of them is her sister’s boyfriend.

Dave is crazy about a popular girl named Jane but is too shy to speak to her. While he is practicing his speech to confess his love for her he meets Aubrey. They end up spending the night together but she warns him to not get too attached as she has a serious boyfriend, but the more time they spend together, their feelings get stronger for each other.

After her mother’s death, a rich spoilt girl acts out and gets sent to a boarding school in England where she struggles to adjust without the luxurious life at home. She goes through a major change and learns a lot about real friendship and life. Emma Roberts plays the main character and I could not have imagined a better actor to play this part.

Naomi and Ely have been best buds since forever. Their lasting friendship could be because of their ‘no kiss list’. The list consists of all the people who they are not allowed to kiss as that might affect their friendship but drama follows when they both fall in love with the same guy.

This is one of the first movies Channing Tatum starred in alongside Amanda Bynes. Amanda Bynes plays the lead role; a girl who loves to play football but her school cuts off the girls’ soccer team so she disguises herself as her brother and attends a boarding school in his place to play football. In the process, she falls in love with her roommate/teammate (Tatum). One of the best comedy high school movies.

Noah (Adam DeVine) and Avery (Alexandra Daddario) meet at a party and spend a fun night together. Noah falls in love with Avery that night but she friendzones him and now he is stuck being her friend. He wonders what he could have done differently the night they met, and he might find out when he realizes he can time travel. He goes back to that night and tries different ways to end up with her.

I’m pretty sure you have heard of this iconic Disney Musical. This movie launched the careers of popular actors like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The movie is exactly what the title suggests – a high school musical. It follows a group of teenage high school students and their shenanigans. There are two more movies in the series and a spin-off starring Ashley Tisdale.

He plays best friend to Maddy Datner (Danielle Campbell) but when high school starts she becomes popular and they grow apart. However, when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend, she reunites with Cole and plans to get revenge which involves sabotaging the prom.
