Movies πŸŽ₯ on Netflix for Girls Bored 😐 of TV πŸ“Ί ...

Do you ever get fed up with loud action movies, superhero movies with their special effects or endless fluffy romcoms?

I’ve always been a fan of arthouse and indie movies but they aren’t really shown in multiplex theaters.

Thank heaven for Netflix.

There’s always something in the schedule if you don’t want movie mainstream.3

1. Strictly Ballroom

A really unique movie from Moulin Rouge creator Baz Luhrmann about the cutthroat world of competitive ballroom dancing.

Something of a cult classic!

2. Beginners

A really touching story about an elderly man who, after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, comes out of the closet to his son shortly after his mother has died.

Christopher Plummer became the oldest recipient of an Oscar for his role.

3. Beyond the Lights

A hidden gem about a singer who, ridden with depression, attempts suicide only to strike a powerful connection with the police officer assigned to be her bodyguard who saves her life.

4. Tangerine

This comedy drama about a community of transgender prostitutes is absolutely extraordinary, mainly for the fact that it was filmed entirely on an iPhone!

5. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

A man whose wife leaves him on the spot after news that an asteroid is about to hit earth goes on a mission to find the love of his love before it’s too late.

Steve Carrell and Keira Knightley?

Hell yeah!

6. Dope

An awesome retro coming of age movie about a group of three friends who get mixed up with the wrong people on the wrong day, leading to an adventure they’ll never forget!

7. Man up

When a man mistakes a woman for his blind date, she decides to go along with the story, not knowing how much of a genuine connection they would strike up underneath the lie.

A Royal Affair
