But what’s a GNI without a hilarious chick flick to laugh at together? Finding the right movie to fit everyone's taste can be kind of tricky though, so to narrow down your search, here's a few of the funniest comedies for a GNI.

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

The 90’s produced a lot of hilarious chick flicks, but one of my all time favorites has to be Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. The two BBF’s have been together forever, and now their high school reunion is just around the corner. Like many of us, they don’t quite have their lives together yet, so together they work on becoming impressive enough for the upcoming event. This movie is guaranteed to give you a serious case of the giggles; plus it’s great whether you’re 17 looking forward or 37 looking back.

He’s Just Not That into You

This movie has a lot going on, but every storyline is equally entertaining. The movie definitely has its serious parts, but has some major LOL moments, too! Plus, in all of the different storylines, you’re bound to find a relatable character, which makes all of their awkward situations that much more hilarious.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is the chick flick comedy of all chick flick comedies. And truly, no girls night would be complete without a little Audrey Hepburn. Even though the movie is decades old, Hepburn’s character is still totally relatable. As you follow Holly Golightly around New York City with her handsome arm candy, you’ll find that her adventures throughout the film are absolutely hilarious!

4

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Another classic featuring a 20th century bombshell is Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Anything with Marilyn Monroe is a must-see in my opinion, with her quirky mannerisms and adorable style. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is my favorite film of hers because it’s by far one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen, I promise you and your friends will love it!

500 Days of Summer

Moving back into this century, you’ll probably enjoy 500 Days of Summer. The movie is kind of all over the place, but everything comes together in the end! It shows the ups and downs of a relationship and leaves you feeling both satisfied and optimistic. Until the end though, I guarantee laughs throughout the film!

Bridget Jone’s Diary

If you aren’t a huge fan of American humor, I recommend Bridget Jones’s Diary. Renee Zellweger and her handsome costars will provide you will tons of jokes, wordplay, and awkward situations that will have you all roaring with laughter by the end.

Pitch Perfect

This modern day classic can’t be watched enough! Even if you’ve already seen it, you really can’t go wrong watching it a second time. The entire cast has great chemistry with one another, which makes the jokes seem natural and even funnier.

There are, of course, dozens of other amazing comedies that would suit a GNI. These are just my top picks. But I’m always looking for movie recommendations! What do you and your girl friends enjoy watching on a Girls’ Night In?

Mike and Dave need wedding dates!

500 days of summer actually made me cry :( I love that movie and Joseph Gordon-Levitt *_*

Breakfast at tiffanys is good but a little depressing as well. A good film nonetheless.

He is not that much into you he is just into your pocket !

Saw Pitch Perfect 2, and it was hilarious! Hubby insisted on this one so now we gotta watch the first one!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a fantastic movie, but definitely not a comedy.
