It’s refreshing to see a show airing on TV that’s not all about drugs, alcohol, and sex: Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I am personally a huge fan of anything Marvel, so when I heard that Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was starting, I couldn’t wait to start watching! Here are some of the reasons why I think it’s one of the greatest shows on TV.

1. Suspense
One of the greatest reasons why Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is such an awesome show is because of its suspense. I love shows that captivate my attention and make me hungry for more! I have the attention span of a squirrel so it’s crucial for me to watch shows that will always keep me on my toes – Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. certainly satisfies that craving!
2. Witty
TV shows need wit and charm, don’t they? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has a healthy dose of everything and makes the audience experience every emotion all in one show: happiness, surprise, anger, and confusion, to name a few. But above all, the wittiness of Coulson and Fitz and Skye give the show a little spice and fun!
Frequently asked questions
3. Entertaining
I have to admit, the first few episodes of the season were not as entertaining and I wasn’t really sure what to think of the show. But as I kept watching, each week’s episode became more and more entertaining. The show did a great job following story line of the Marvel movies, too.
4. Mysterious
There are so many questions in my head! Those of you who are also loyal followers probably have the same questions as me right now: Who is Skye? What’s her secret? Who is that man with the bloody hand at the end of the season finale? What the heck is up with Coulson? The mystery in the show is really getting to me and I can’t wait until Season 2!
5. Great Teasers
Similarly, the show has great teasers – even before the season finale, the drama between Skye and Ward, the questions about Hydra and the clairvoyant and Fitz and Simmons and T.A.H.I.T.I. (the list goes on really) were all really great teasers.

6. Character Development
Unlike movies, TV shows take more time to develop characters and I must say that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. did a fabulous job developing the characters in the show. Again, as I’ve already mentioned, I was not 100% sold on the show when it started, because it seemed to be very slow and almost dragging. But now that the season is over and I see how each piece fits in the puzzle, I embrace the masterpiece!
7. Anticipation for Season Two
I absolutely cannot wait until Season 2. I literally would scream at the TV and sit at the edge of my seat during every episode (my poor roommate had to deal with me during the show), but I couldn’t help it! Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. turned out to be my favorite and most highly anticipated show to watch every week. And now I’m highly anticipating Season 2!
Agent fans: what are we suppose to do or watch until the show returns in the fall?! I need to find a new favorite show for the time being. What have you loved about the show so far? What do you think is going to happen in Season 2?
