1. Gilmore Girls

I don’t think it’s possible to be a woman between the ages of 18 and 40 and not have an intense love for this show, but until recently, I was one of them. Whether or not you are also just discovering your love for the series, this show is a necessary binge-watch over Christmas break. It’s without a doubt one of the best TV shows to binge-watch no matter the time of year, however it’s great for Christmas break. It’s the perfect show, because it’s a show that you’re destined to love, plus there are enough seasons that it’s sure to last you the entirety of your winter break. Believe me, you will become addicted immediately.

2. You’ve Got Mail

Personally, I love You’ve Got Mail no matter the time of year, but there’s something about Christmas time that makes me want to watch it on a loop. The entire movie spans the course of all four seasons, but the winter seasons will leave you yearning for Christmas in New York. It’s the perfect movie to watch when you’re stuck at your parents’ house on Christmas break, wishing you actually were in New York for Christmas. Plus, now that it's recently on Netflix, it's so easy to find that you'll want to watch it all the time!

3. Love Actually

Everyone knows that Love Actually is a Christmas staple, so watching this movie is a must over the holiday season. Even though this is probably already on your list to watch this Christmas break, you can’t watch this movie enough around the holidays because everyone knows that’s when it’s at its best.

4. Parks and Recreation

It’s a bit of a romantic comedy, but there’s so much going on that it’s a movie you can watch with your whole family, and everyone will find something to love about it. 6. The Giant Mechanical Man

Maybe it’s because my separate but equal love for Jenna Fischer, Chris Messina, and Detroit knows no bounds, but The Giant Mechanical Man is one of those movies I keep going back to time and time again. The plot may seem a little too outrageous for you, but the actual movie is much quieter and more realistic than the initial plot makes it seem. If you’re looking for a feel-good romantic comedy, this one delivers.

7. Maid in Manhattan

If you’re a massive fan of Teen Wolf and you haven’t seen this romantic comedy yet, add it to your Netflix queue. You’ll get to experience young Tyler Posey, which is always worth it. If you’re not a fan of Teen Wolf, this movie is worth it simply because of the lovely, modern Cinderella story.
